Team Henselite Selina Goddard Selina Goddard
Birth Date: 23 July 1994
Club: Carlton Cornwell (NZ) & Broadbeach Qld (Aus)
Bowl Used: Fusion and Tiger
Why do you choose these bowls? The fusion works great on quick greens, it has a consistent line and the weight is controllable. The same goes with the Tiger. It has a similar line on the slower greens and pushes through all weather conditions.
How and when did you start bowling? When I was 4 years old my parents started playing bowls and used to bring me and my sister to the bowling club. When my hands were big enough to hold a bowl I decided to give the sport a go.
Career Goals? To play for New Zealand at the highest level and win gold in International events.
Career Highlights Being selected for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. It was very over whelming for my dream to come true so quickly. I'm honoured and excited to play for New Zealand at the highest level. This opportunity to play in the Commonwealth Games only comes around once every 4 years and I look forward to being part of it with a great team.
